Once again we go for girl power, please meet sommelier Nassyrova Dayana from Kazakhstan. Dayana is yet another great example of when you find a passion in life, the best is to follow that passion. Dayana actually did studies in Chemistry at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and only found her passion in one a few years ago. She might have only started working with wine two and a half years, but Dayana is a VERY ambitious and driven person as in these few years she has followed a wine education at the OVino wine school in Almaty, obtained her WSET Advanced Certificate in St Petersburg and competed very successful in national and international sommelier contests like Kazakhstan Somme

We are always happy to see that more women that choose to become sommelier, as for many years it has been a world (like many others) for only men. It is a very good thing as women have a far better tasting pallet in comparison with men. The next sommelier we want to present to you is Nina Højgaard Jensen that most you will know as she became 2nd during the Best Sommelier of the World contest earlier this year in Antwerp. With the Best Sommelier of Europe & Africa contest getting closer we decided to put all the participants for the competition in the spotlight. Please allow me to introduce to you Ketri Leis who even at her young age is already a leading lady in world of Estonian sommeliers and I'm sure it won't stop there. Ketri will be defending the Estonian Colors at the championship.
